Job summary

KAG SERVICES INC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a logistics dispatcher to streamline freight transportation operations. You will partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan shipping, maximize loads, and improve on-time deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with Microsoft tools and logistics software, and the ability to work under pressure. You will coordinate up to 75 drivers and communicate across teams to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
Experience in logistics dispatch/scheduling preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft and logistics software.
Ability to work under pressure and use independent judgment.

Responsibilities

Plan and carry out shipping operations with dispatchers and fleet managers.
Develop daily operating plan focused on KPIs.
Evaluate and update plans for payload, on-time deliveries, loaded mile percentage.
Collaborate daily with Scheduling Team Leaders on growth opportunities for KAG assets.
Adjust operating plans to maximize growth, efficiency and safety.
Coordinate maintenance with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
Communicate with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments for smooth operations.
Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers.
