Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; business experience welcomed.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and logistics applications required.
• Ability to solve problems under pressure and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute a daily plan for movement of freight within the assigned area.
• Monitor inventories and forecasted customer needs for scheduling.
• Confirm retain and runout times and maximize payload and on-time performance.
• Adjust orders based on driver capacity and customer demands.
• Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update sourcing and daily plans.
• Communicate with Load Planners and customers on service issues.
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.
