Job summary

UniGroup is seeking a Load Planner to help keep its transportation network running efficiently on-site. You will plan and dispatch shipments, track orders end-to-end, and work with agents, drivers, customers, and carriers to ensure on-time, high-quality service.

The role emphasizes real-time decision making, effective prioritization, and collaboration across teams to drive strong customer outcomes and operational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Clear and effective communication across a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch shipments to maximize truck capacity and meet delivery timelines.
• Monitor shipments in transit and quickly resolve issues to keep service on track.
• Communicate with agents, drivers, customers, and carriers to coordinate and problem-solve.
• Negotiate with carriers and partners to support cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
• Partner with internal teams to support smooth operations and strong customer outcomes.
