Job summary

Spot Freight, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its 24/7 Customer Contact Center. You will track and confirm all customer shipments, and provide on-the-spot problem resolution for customer needs.

The schedule is Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM. You will route shipments cost-effectively, monitor freight, and communicate transit issues to parties with practical solutions. Prior call center experience and a college degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Route shipments in the most cost-effective manner.
• Track and trace shipments while resolving shipping errors.
• Provide excellent customer service to business customers and carriers.
• Ability to perform a high volume of outbound calls.
• Monitor the movement of freight through proprietary logistics technology to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate transit issues to respective parties and provide solutions.
