Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support licensed staff in daily patient care tasks during night shifts. This on-site role offers a $750 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires and a 40-hour work week.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, vital signs, and basic hygiene, document in the EMR, and help patients reposition. A High School Diploma is preferred; BLS or Nursing Assistant certification is preferred; 0–1 year experience is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; CMA/Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• 0–1 year experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and document results.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) and basic hygiene tasks.
• Support with turning and repositioning in bed and help transfers to a wheelchair.
• Monitor and report health concerns to licensed staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the EMR system.
