Job summary

YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee seeks a Night Lead Domestic Violence Advocate to provide direct services to survivors at the Weaver Domestic Violence Center. The role guides advocates on the third shift, responds to crisis calls, and connects survivors with resources. Responsibilities include staff training support and shelter supply management.

Hours are 11:00pm–7:30am, Sunday–Thursday (40 hours). Pay is $20.91/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Counseling or related field preferred.
• Six months experience in residential/domestic violence shelter including call center operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 24-hour crisis line calls and provide emotional support.
• Safety planning, information on DV resources, and trauma-informed support.
• Manage shelter supplies, inventory, and maintenance reporting.
• Assist with staff onboarding and ongoing training; participate in meetings.
