Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Janitorial Shift Lead to supervise the night shift and perform janitorial duties at the Jacksonville, FL account. This role supports Sizemore's values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety, and teamwork while delivering high standards of cleanliness.

The position includes a pay rate of $16.50/hour with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k) with up to 4% company match, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial and supervisor experience preferred.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
• Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy in all interactions.
• Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in time sensitive situations.
• Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a diverse team to ensure on-site standards are met.
• Clean various flooring surfaces (vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub).
• Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, baseboards, windows, blinds.
• Clean/disinfect breakrooms (surfaces, appliances).
• Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Label and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in safe working order.
• Operate specialized equipment as needed.
• Report irregularities to prevent losses and ensure policy compliance.
• Adhere to Sizemore and client policies.
