Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Inventory Controller Lead to supervise daily inventory operations. You will manage schedules, tackle shortages, and coordinate with production to ensure smooth material flow and accurate orders.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong English communication, and forklift certification readiness, with exposure to ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recent inventory experience in manufacturing or production.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
• Experience operating an all-terrain forklift of 15,000# or more is desirable.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ERP/MRP experience desired.
• Able to pass Sabre forklift certification and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and organizes Inventory Control team’s daily work to meet business needs.
• Verifies schedules and informs employees of changes.
• Identifies and manages shortages to maximize throughput.
• Leads team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Coordinates material issues with production for smooth operations.
• Maintains inventory levels and directs corrective action.
• Researches missing parts and locates current locations.
• Audits outbound orders for accuracy and compliance.
• Conducts weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Handles packing, shipping, and processes customer orders.
