Havenwyck Hospital, a UHS facility in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a fully licensed Intake Clinician (RN/MSW) for per diem night shifts (11:00pm-7:30am). The role involves obtaining intake information, coordinating admissions, and guiding clients and referrals through treatment options.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, communication with physicians, and ensuring accurate census and reporting. MI licensure as RN or LMSW/LMFT/LPC is required; prior behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of associates in nursing, bachelor of nursing, preferred, or masters of social work degrees.
• Current MI license as RN or LMSW/LMFT/LPC per job requirements.
• Experience in mental health services, preferably in a psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial intake information and conduct clinical assessments.
• Provide information on treatment programs and admission procedures to clients and referrals.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff regarding admission decisions.
• Perform follow-up with referral sources and patients awaiting admission.
• Possibly conduct telephone or face-to-face screenings per medical staff authorization.
• Maintain census records and coordinate admitting services to meet payor-mix targets.
• Assist with community relations and marketing activities as needed.
• Attend mandatory training and adhere to hospital policies.
