Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing, or a Master of Social Work is required or preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience providing mental health services is preferred.
• Current MI license as LMSW/LMFT/LPC or RN is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial intake information and provide clinical assessment during intake.
• Inform patients and referral sources about treatment programs, insurances, and admission procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff regarding admission decisions and anticipated care level.
• Maintain census records and support admitting services to meet payor-mix objectives.
• May assist with on-call coverage and participate in mandatory trainings.
