Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a fully licensed Intake Clinician (RN or MSW) for per diem night shifts (11:00pm-7:30am). You will obtain initial intake information, perform clinical assessments, and coordinate admissions with physicians to determine the appropriate level of care.

Responsibilities include communicating with patients, families and referral sources about treatment options, insurance, and admission procedures, maintaining census records, and supporting community

Qualifications

• Licensure in Michigan as LMSW, LMFT, LPC, or RN is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in mental health services, preferably in a psychiatric hospital.
• Must be in good standing and eligible for internal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial intake information.
• Provide clinical assessment and feedback during intake.
• Inform patients and referral sources about treatment programs and admission procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and program directors regarding anticipated admission.
• Maintain census and coordinate admitting services to meet payor-mix and census objectives.
• May be on call and attend mandatory trainings.
