Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Intake Clinician (RN/MSW) for part-time night shifts (11:00pm–7:30am, three days/week with alternating weekends). The role involves performing intake assessments, coordinating with physicians on call, and guiding clients and families through admission procedures.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in nursing or higher, and a Michigan license as LMSW/LMFT/LPC or RN, with 1–3 years of mental health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan license as LMSW/LF? Wait; license must be Michigan-fully licensed social worker (LMSW), LMFT, LPC or RN.
• 1–3 years of mental health experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• In good standing with previous employment/disciplinary history.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial intake information and conduct clinical assessment during intake.
• Coordinate with physicians, program directors and nurses regarding admission decisions.
• Provide information to patients, families and referral sources about treatment programs and admission procedures.
• Assist with scheduling clinical evaluations and follow-up for admissions.
• May provide on-call coverage as required.
