Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) in Las Vegas is seeking a Transport Coordinator for a full-time, 6:00pm–2:00am shift. You will serve as a liaison between GMR Communication Centers and hospital facilities, coordinating medical and non-medical transports to support patient movement safely and efficiently.

The role requires dispatch coordination, paperwork readiness, and clear communication with hospital staff, physicians, and ambulance crews.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with local geography.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must Type 30 WPM.
• Must have effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to Multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and order Ambulance/CCT(s) for all applicable discharges.
• Assist hospital staff with LOS determinations to help understanding why patients are moving at appropriate LOS in real time.
• Prepare timely and accurate paperwork as required.
• Serve as the Liaison between GMR and healthcare facilities.
• Provide information regarding transportation services to physicians and nursing personnel.
• Interact with GMR dispatch centers to ensure proper unit utilization.
