Job summary

American Medical Response, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV seeks an organized Transport Coordinator for a full-time evening shift. You will coordinate medical and non-medical transports, liaise with hospital teams, and ensure paperwork and LOS considerations are completed prior to transport.

You will interact with clinical staff, dispatch centers, and ambulance crews to maintain timely, safe patient movement and minimize delays. EMT/EMD certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience providing dispatching and/or transportation services to hospital patients.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical and non-medical transports to ensure timely, safe patient movement.
• Assist hospital staff with LOS determinations and paperwork readiness for transport.
• Communicate with hospital staff, ambulance crews, and dispatch centers to optimize unit use.
• Provide patient and staff with transport details and medical needs during transport.
• Prepare accurate documentation and act as liaison between GMR and facilities.
