Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Night Guest Laundry Attendant to assist overnight guests, including check-ins and check-outs, and to ensure laundry tasks are completed to the brand's standards. The role emphasizes guest service, safety, and accuracy in following procedures.

You will wash, dry, and fold linens and dishes, restock housekeeping carts, support grab-and-go breakfast setup, and monitor the property for cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests and associates.
• Operate basic property management and housekeeping systems; follow shift reports and audit tasks as needed.
• Follow safety rules and procedures, and maintain cleanliness and order throughout the property.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence with accuracy.
• Perform basic math for payments, inventories, and PAR level checks.
• Exercise good judgment and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests overnight, including check-ins and check-outs, and collect payments in accordance with guidelines.
• Process all laundry tasks: wash, dry, fold linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, shower curtains, and dishware.
• Stock housekeeping carts and laundry rooms to PAR levels with required supplies.
• Handle reservations, registrations, payments, and guest departures per procedures.
• Set up grab-and-go breakfast per brand standards.
• Conduct periodic property tours for cleanliness and safety observations.
• Report safety and security issues to management as required.
