Job summary

Carvana is hiring for a full-time, hourly Safe & Secure team member in Tooele, UT, to ensure site safety and uninterrupted operations. You’ll work the Sunday‑Thursday 10PM–6:30AM shift, serve as the face of Carvana at the gate, and perform vehicle inspections while upholding our safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on patrol, incident prevention, and collaboration with Inspection Center and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision‑making in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly; organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and actively to avoid missed signals.
• Use our Unified Security Platform to monitor live cameras and review footage.
• De-escalate and collaborate with partners to maintain safety and uptime.
• Run point at the gate using the SAS App and RFID tech, enforcing procedures.
• Manage vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrances and exits.
• Be trained in first aid, CPR, and AED and apply as needed.
