Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safety & Security Associate to protect our associates, customers, and vehicles at our Jurupa Valley site in California. This boots-on-the-ground role covers gate duties, vehicle movement control, and emergency response in a 24/7 operation.

You’ll be trained in first aid, CPR, and AED, and you’ll use CCTV/RFID technology while coordinating with Inspection Center and Logistics teams. Must be 18+, fluent in English, and thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts.
• Enforce ingress/egress procedures at the gate using the SAS App and RFID tech.
• Drive a safety-first culture by conducting safety audits and reinforcing best practices.
• Walk the lot to scan vehicles and support safety operations.
