Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time front desk role at a Los Angeles education campus. You will greet students and staff, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain a professional lobby presence while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A valid guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by following site access-control procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to locations.
• Monitor entry activity and logs; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining lobby awareness and documenting incidents.
