The role offers a daytime to evening schedule with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, basic computer or tablet skills, and a high school diploma; background checks and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required; licensing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, issue authorized credentials, and communicate visitor information to appropriate campus personnel.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from the designated desk area, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, complete daily activity reports, and provide clear communications to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
