Job summary

Home2 Suites Troy is seeking a Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming heartbeat of the hotel. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and reservations, and collaborate with the sales and revenue teams to upsell and fulfill guest requests.

Ideal candidates bring exceptional customer service, calm under pressure, and strong communication skills. Prior hotel front desk experience and PMS familiarity are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with 3rd shift options.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and PMS use.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in arriving guests, ensuring a friendly first impression.
• Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the PMS.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
• Promote and enroll guests in hotel rewards programs.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating if needed.
• Balance daily accounts and perform end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Assist the sales and revenue team with special requests and upselling.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk area at all times.
• Run the Night Audit program.
