Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Front Desk Agent at our hotel and casino in West Virginia. You will provide outstanding guest service, handle reservations, and assist guests with information about local attractions. The role requires solid front desk experience and basic accounting/cash handling skills, with licensing eligibility for WV regulations.

Expect responsibilities spanning check-in/check-out, room inventory management, and promoting hotel and casino services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk agent and accounting/audit experience preferred.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages; analyze and correct accounting and cashiering mistakes.
• Must qualify for licenses and permits including West Virginia Gaming License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; PM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service to HCCTR internal and external guests and establishes a positive relationship with our guests.
• Answers and facilitates all incoming switchboard calls to the Hotel and Casino.
• Books guest hotel reservations.
• Maintains the guest room inventory of the hotel and sells remaining room inventory.
• Promotes the hotel and casino services, facilities and outlets.
• Provides guests with information and directions to local attractions.
• Performs Front Desk Agent duties including guest check-in and check-out in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.
