Job summary

La Quinta is seeking a reliable Overnight Front Desk Associate to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will provide exceptional guest service during overnight hours while managing front desk operations and basic night audit duties.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling check-ins/outs, answering inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring security and cleanliness of the front desk area. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (hotel PMS experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently and stay alert overnight
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries and requests
• Perform night audit procedures and prepare daily reports
• Handle reservations, payments, and cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalations when needed
• Ensure hotel security and follow overnight procedures
• Assist in setting up breakfast
