La Quinta Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale West, operated by Orange Ave Hospitality LLC, is seeking a Front Desk & Night Auditor (Dual Role) to join our team in Tamarac, FL. The role combines daytime front desk operations with nightly auditing duties to ensure smooth hotel operations.

You’ll engage guests, handle reservations, process payments, and coordinate with housekeeping to maintain a high standard of service. Flexibility for shifts, including overnights, is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a hotel or customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Basic computer skills; experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts, including overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and assisting with check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Answering phone calls, addressing guest inquiries, managing reservations, and fulfilling special requests.
• Handling payments, verifying identification, and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally with a positive attitude.
• Performing nightly audits, reconciling accounts, and preparing end-of-day reports.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times.
