Job summary

Project for Pride in Living, Inc. is seeking a part-time Front Desk Attendant for Downtown View, a 47-unit supportive housing community serving young adults 18–24 who have experienced homelessness.

The role provides a consistent, welcoming presence, maintains safety, and supports residents and visitors to foster a respectful, inclusive environment. The position involves evening and weekend shifts (8 PM–8 AM, Saturday and Sunday), on-site work, logbook updates, incident reporting, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong sense of personal and professional boundaries.
• Ability to identify crisis situations and provide appropriate support, including de-escalation and engaging law enforcement when necessary.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs, schedules, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and service partners professionally and warmly.
• Monitor safety and security of the building; conduct rounds as needed.
• Support move-ins/outs, coordinate with management and service providers, and answer resident inquiries.
