Project Renewal in Upper Manhattan seeks a Front Desk Clerk to support a 24/7 congregate care program. You will help maintain a safe lobby, greet visitors, log entries, and coordinate with staff during incidents.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with mentally ill and substance-using populations, and the ability to obtain Fire Guard certification within 90 days. Shifts vary, and you will monitor CCTV and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with mentally ill and substance abusing population.
• Must obtain Fire Guard Certification (F-01) within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to work multiple / varied shifts as building is a 24 hour/7 day a week facility.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a safe, secure lobby.
• Conduct safety patrols and document findings.
• Monitor CCTV system and security cameras.
• Observe tenants/visitors and report unusual behavior.
• Greet visitors, log entries, and direct them to proper locations.
• Maintain visitor/guest log and incident reports.
• Operate a multi-line telephone and intercom system.
• Act as Fire Guard and respond to emergencies.
• Provide crisis intervention and contact appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
