Job summary

Project HOME is seeking a part-time Receptionist to serve staff, residents, contractors, and guests, ensuring tenant safety by monitoring building access. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service and professional conduct at the front desk.

Shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 7AM–3PM or 3PM–11PM with a pay rate of $18.15 per hour. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience. Basic computer literacy is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant front desk presence and verify access with photo ID.
• Establish and maintain respectful relationships with residents, guests, and staff.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor security and check doors/windows; use cameras as needed.
• Answer calls, take messages, and assist with clerical tasks (typing, filing, deliveries).
• Assist with room setups for community space meetings.
• Document shift summaries and share during shift change.
• Address urgent situations with de-escalation and follow emergency procedures.
• Act as dispatch/contact for outreach and referrals when applicable.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
