Job summary

FedEx Group in Milwaukee is seeking a package handler to operate equipment for moving packages and to assist with pallet buildup and breakdown. You will coordinate with the ULD repair vendor as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level, walk and stand for long shifts, and communicate clearly in a noisy environment. Shifts vary and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Must walk/stand for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used for moving packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
