Job summary

ABX AIR is seeking a Flight Operations Assistant to support the Nightly DHL operations at CVG. The role involves admin duties, policy clarification to crewmembers, and ensuring SOP compliance. It also covers updating FAA/Jeppesen/ABX manuals and handling travel systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating with flight crews, resolving operational issues, notifying about random drug tests, and transporting flight bags between ILN and CVG bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have HSD/GED.
• Flight operations experience, pilot training or enrolled in a pilot training program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Very good written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a group environment.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to adapt to fast paced atmosphere and changing priorities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Flight Department with administrative duties for nightly DHL operations.
• Communicate and clarify company policies to crewmembers.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Identify and resolve operational problems relating to flight crews.
• Notify crewmembers of random drug tests.
• Administer system travel and update revisions to FAA, Jeppesen, and ABX manuals.
• Transport flight bags from ILN to CVG bi-weekly and distribute to appropriate aircraft at CVG.
