The role requires floor care experience and infection control procedures, with a schedule from 10:00pm to 6:30am and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years of diversified environmental service work experience in health care or institutional setting.
• Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and respond to priority changes while serving as a role model in customer service and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Responds to cleaning service requests via tracking systems and maintains task/infection control logs.
• Performs infection control cleaning in clinical areas and adheres to hand hygiene requirements.
• Maintains and logs department equipment; reports repairs and logs out/in equipment.
• Assesses environmental conditions to keep the facility neat, safe, and orderly; escalates issues when needed.
• Provides leadership and on-the-job training to other associates in cleaning techniques and infection control.
• Performs scheduled floor care procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing) and carpet extraction.
• Communicates status of repairs with supervisor and facilities staff.
