Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing per policy; plans daily tasks.
• Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, and removes trash and medical waste.
• Replenishes supplies (toilet tissue, paper towels, soap) in all assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage; reports repairs as needed.
• May perform special projects like windows or walls cleaning and removal of heavily soiled items.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors and strives for high customer satisfaction.
• Works under supervision in an assigned facility/area; interacts with internal and external customers.
