Qualifications

• 1–2 years of environmental service experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment and infection control procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cleaning requests via tracking systems; maintain infection control logs.
• Perform infection control in clinical areas and gowning/cleaning procedures.
• Maintain department equipment and logs; protect equipment from damage.
• Assess environmental conditions to keep the facility neat, safe, and orderly; report safety issues.
• Provide leadership and on-the-job training for other staff; model customer service.
• Perform scheduled floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction.
• Work under supervision serving internal and external customers.
