Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas at the Westover Hills 16-bed small-format hospital.

The role requires night shifts (7pm–7am), full-time hours, and travel to all facility locations as needed. Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, basic wound care, and maintaining patient safety and privacy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with one of the listed medical training paths.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS/ALS certifications required in most markets.
• Current PALS certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and initiating EKGs preferred.
• English fluency for clear communication with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vitals.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per COLA/CLIA.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety measures.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure clean, safe environment and practice infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
