Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Room Technician for Brentwood AHN Neighborhood Hospital in Pittsburgh. The role operates on a night shift (7PM-7AM) as a PRN/casual position in an 18-bed hospital.

Responsibilities include collecting vitals and specimens, assisting with patient activities, administering basic wound care, and ensuring patient safety and privacy while supporting unit operations across facility locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; multiple medical training paths acceptable.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS preferred in many markets.
• Experience in ER settings and patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals, height/weight, intake/output.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and procedures.
• Assist with patient activities and care per nurse's plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge as needed.
