Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and patient care in a 16-bed small-format hospital setting. The role covers vital signs, specimen collection, lab testing, and supportive care under the charge nurse's guidance.

The ideal candidate has BLS/ACLS, EMT-P or CNA credentials, and current certifications. Travel to facility locations may be required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS/ALS certifications are required/strongly preferred.
• EMT-P/Paramedic license or equivalent is required.
• CNA with hospital experience is acceptable in some markets.
• Enrollment in an accredited School of Nursing with related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vital signs.
• Perform lab testing in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control.
