Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking an Emergency Department RN for night shift (7:15p–7:15a), every 3rd weekend and holiday. Strong multitasking and patient-centered care are essential in our fast-paced ED. EPIC charting and inter-disciplinary collaboration are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the Nurse Manager and medical staff.
• Utilize the nursing process to develop care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality ED care.
• Document and coordinate care using EPIC and hospital policies.
