Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department RN for the night shift (7:15 PM–7:15 AM), every 3rd weekend and holiday. The ED features a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong multidisciplinary team and a focus on patient-centered care in a modern facility within Hartford HealthCare.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in CT.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Self-directed in management of patient care.
• Emergency Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Use nursing process to develop a care plan meeting physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
