Job summary

The MidState Medical Center in Hartford, CT seeks an Emergency Department RN to join our night shift team. You will provide high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced ED, using EPIC for charting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• BNs preferred
• Current RN license in Connecticut
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Self-directed in patient care management
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in collaborative interdisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.
• Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, apply evidence-based practices following hospital policies.
• Develop a care plan addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.
