Job summary

MidState Medical Center seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts. The role works 7:15 pm to 7:15 am, with every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation, at 435 Lewis Avenue, Meriden, CT.

The ED features a dynamic, high-volume environment with EPIC charting and fast-paced patient care. The ideal candidate holds a CT RN license, a BSN is preferred, and has prior emergency nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; CT RN license required (or eligible).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume ED.
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Apply nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies and the State Nurse Practice Act.
