Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa or a compact state.
• BLS is required for all applicants.
• ACLS needed only if telemetry monitoring is used.
• Mandatory Reporter training must be completed within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develops and implements emergency care plans.
• Delivers timely and effective interventions.
• Prepares patients for diagnostic testing or transfer.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care as needed.
• Facilitates communication and coordination among staff.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in emergency nursing.
• Manages multiple patients and prioritizes care.
• Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
