Job summary
MercyOne Health System in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room Team. You will provide professional nursing care to patients across neonates to geriatrics, following the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
The role supports night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, full-time 36 hours per week, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. A current Iowa RN license and BCLS are required, ACLS/PALS recommended.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license from the State of Iowa.
- BCLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications recommended.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients across age groups in the emergency department.
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation.
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, age-appropriate care.
- Lead and supervise nursing activities as needed.
