Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in eastern Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift. The role involves rapid assessments, emergency care planning, and coordinating patient transfers within a full-service community health system.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with Iowa licensure and BLS; ACLS may be required depending on telemetry capabilities. MercyOne offers tuition reimbursement, benefits from day 1, and PTO accrual starting day 1.

Qualifications

• Mandatory reporter training due within 3 months of hire.

Schedule

• 3 (12 hr) shifts per week--night shift 1900-0730
• Every 3rd weekend
• Every 3rd holiday

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Possession of a current or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire
• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability
• Basic computer skills required
