Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a ER frontline team member for night shifts, full-time, onsite. The role involves providing emergent patient care within the ER team.

You will perform technical procedures under supervision, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, wound care, ECGs, and telemetry monitoring, and assisting with physicians and nurses during exams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider and EMT licensure with IV certification (EMT-I).
• Minimum Experience: None required.
• BLS card must be valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Establish IV access and draw specimens as delegated.
• Provide wound care and assist with patient transport.
• Perform ECGs and telemetry monitoring as needed.
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and procedures.
• Report abnormal findings to medical staff and maintain patient flow.
