Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO, seeks a Nights ER support position responsible for emergent patient care under supervision of a physician, PA, or RN. Onsite role with 72 hours per pay period, nights schedule, and pay range $19.10–$24.83 per hour depending on experience.

Primary duties include IV access, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs, monitoring, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider CPR required; CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.
• Current State EMT licensure with IV certification (EMT-I acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Establish IV access, collect specimens, provide wound care and transport patients.
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
• Report abnormal assessments or changes to medical staff.
• Maintain patient flow and keep rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
