Job summary

UCHealth's Freestanding Emergency Department in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced RN for full-time night shifts. The role emphasizes direct patient care within a fast-paced ED, strong teamwork, and adherence to best practice guidelines.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS/ENPC, with at least 6 months of RN experience. Additional certifications and a commitment to ongoing education are valued.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and BLS certification in-hand before start date.
• ACLS and PALS or ENPC required; TNCC and PALS/ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; graduate from accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Precept and orient new staff; support evidence-based practice.
• Participate in wellness initiatives and maintain professional growth.
