Job summary

Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare in St. Louis is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Basic Life Support (BLS) 911 ambulance team, delivering urgent prehospital care and safe patient transport within the community.

This full-time night position features a rotating schedule, every-other-weekend responsibility, and holiday rotation. EMT certification is required; High School diploma or GED is required; prior EMT experience is preferred and a $2,500 sign-on bonus is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT certification state applicable.
• No prior EMT experience required; experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists with delivery of patient care under RN or Paramedic supervision.
• Assists with maintenance and cleaning of patient care and medical equipment.
• Performs routine equipment function tests and calibrations.
• Assists with inventory of supplies and equipment ensuring adequate supply levels.
