Job summary

Christian Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Basic Life Support (BLS) 911 ambulance team, delivering emergency medical care and safe patient transport in the community.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and EMT certification; previous EMT experience is preferred. Schedule is full-time nights (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a rotating weekend and holiday rotation, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Role Purpose

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment. Works under on-line and off-line medical control providing basic life support. Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN in the Emergency Department or Paramedic.
