Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide Basic Life Support in emergency and non-emergency responses across New Jersey. You will transport patients safely, document care, and coordinate with other agencies while adhering to NJ regulations and HMHP protocols.

The role requires NJ EMT certification or NR EMT/BLS, a valid driver’s license, and EVOC/CEVO training within 90 days of hire. Sign-on bonus available for eligible full-time night-shift hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• ICS-100/ICS-200/NIMS ICS training.
• IS-700/NIMS An Introduction.
• IS-800.D: NRF Introduction.
• AHA BLS Health Care Provider Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support for emergency and non-emergency requests.
• Coordinate with police, fire, ALS and hospitals.
• Prepare patient care reports and ensure timely transports.
• Adhere to NJ regulations and HMHP protocols.
