Job summary

Carson Valley Health seeks an Emergency Charge RN for night shifts to lead the ED team, ensure smooth patient flow, and uphold top patient care standards. You will collaborate with physicians, coordinate staffing, and enforce department policies.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in NV, BSN preferred, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC) with 3–5 years of clinical/nursing supervision, including ICU/ER exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in the State of NV.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required.
• 3-5 years of clinical nursing with supervisory experience; ICU/ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ED operations and patient flow.
• Coordinate nursing staff with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain department policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Respond to codes and emergencies; act as incident commander until administration arrives.
• Provide staff training, performance feedback, and shift handoffs.
