Accounting Search is partnering with a premier hospital to hire an Emergency Medicine Nocturnist in Lima, OH. This full-time night position offers autonomous clinical work, a stable schedule, and compensation of $215 per hour for all clinical hours, with a planned annual 1,456 hours requirement.

The ED handles around 28,000 visits yearly and provides strong support from APPs, Meditech EMR, and a robust benefits package including 401(k) match, health insurance, malpractice tail coverage,

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Emergency Medicine required.
• Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility) and valid DEA registration.
• Team-oriented, collaborative professional in a stable medical staff environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the solo attending Emergency Medicine Physician on-site during night hours with full clinical autonomy.
• Benefit from overlap coverage by experienced APPs to streamline patient throughput.
• Support a high-volume ED seeing ~28,000 visits annually.
• Utilize Meditech EMR; plan for AI scribes to reduce charting burden.
