You will perform bedside duties, device setup, and assist clinicians during procedures while adhering to infection control, safety, and teamwork standards. Work includes 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays in a welcoming campus environment.

Qualifications

• We’re seeking an ED Tech/EMT with direct patient care exposure.
• BLS certification is required at time of hire.
• Knowledge of suturing, dressings, splints and wound care is preferred.
• CPR and EKG skills are important for routine and emergent care.
• Ability to assist nursing staff with patient care and procedures.
• Must work well in a collaborative, fast-paced team and with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a trauma/emergency environment.
• Assist in setup of equipment for procedures and infection control.
• Support nurses, transport patients, and assist with ADLs and specimen collection.
• Perform EKGs and finger-stick blood glucose checks as directed.
